OnePlus is the company which came to the smartphone world with a bang! The One Plus One was the very first device from the company. And from then, the company didn’t look back. The One Plus One was a huge hit. The company launched it with the tagline ‘Flagship Killer’. No doubt, it was indeed the Flagship Killer. The next device that was launched after One Plus One was the One Plus 2. And the same year, the One Plus X was launched which was something different than the previous devices. Firstly, it was an affordable device with premium design and also with good specs. The handset was also a big hit but today, a very bad news is here for all the OnePlus X lovers out there ?

Yes! You read absolutely right. The One Plus X has been discontinued (quietly). One Plus has officially revealed the same via its Forum. The device was priced at 199$ in the US and indeed it is still considered as best smartphone under 200$. The beautiful design, a compact form factor, and decent specs were the best features of this device. So, the main question that arises is –


The most logical reason right could be that the company wants to completely focus on the One Plus 3. But, the One Plus 3, being priced at 400$+ is clearly not an affordable smartphone.  And well, the One Plus X was launched for this reason. The handset is out of stock’ in every country-specific online One Plus Store. Also, the company has announced on its Forum that all orders for the One Plus X will be canceled. Also, in case you have placed the order, the company will refund in 6 days. ?
