Gionee M2017 Coming with massive 7,000 mAh battery

Chinese smartphone manufacturers love to try weird things with their devices. There isn’t any exception as every Chinese company has at least once launched a device with something different than others. For Example, Xiaomi launched Mi Mix with more than 90% screen to body ratio, Vivo launched the first 6GB RAM phone, LeEco was the first company to ditch headphone jack etc. Now, Gionee is all set to launch Gionee M2017, a device with a huge 7,000 mAh battery. And keep in mind that it isn’t a tablet, rather it is a smartphone. The phone leaked today via AnTuTu which reveals the key specs.

GIONEE M2017 : THE PHONE WITH BEST BATTERY?

First of all, the phone is coming with a massive 7,000 mAh battery which means you can easily get battery life of 3-4 days on heavy usage, which is really impressive. But, with big battery comes more weight and same is the case here. The phone is going to be 230 grams in weight and 10.65mm in thickness. But. if your prime need is a big battery, you should be ‘OK’ with this much weight and thickness.

Anyways,, the AnTuTu listing reveals a 5.7-inch Quad HD display with a resolution of 1440x2560p. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 653 chipset along with Adreno 510 GPU.Also, there is a huge 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. Coming to cameras, the phone is rocking a 12/13MP rear and 8MP front-facing camera. As mentioned before, there is a massive 7K mAh battery under the hood. The leaked photo of Gionee M2017 reveal that there are very narrow bezels on sides and also, there is very less empty space on top as well as bottom. The fingerprint scanner is on the front and there is Gionee logo on the back. The back seems to have a leather type material which will make it easy to hold the device.
